This Privacy Policy describes how your information is handled when you use SMO (Seven Months Out) and all MyBranchLink Apps (the "Apps").
SMO and MyBranchLink Apps are designed to provide information without collecting personal data from users. The apps do not require you to create an account, and they do not access, collect, or store any personal information from your device, such as your name, email address, location, or contacts.
The apps use your device's local storage (AsyncStorage) for the sole purpose of remembering whether you have acknowledged and accepted the app's disclaimer. This is a simple true/false flag and does not contain any personal information.
All data entered into these applications is stored locally on your device only. We do not collect, transmit, store, or access any personal information, documents, or user data on our servers. You are solely responsible for backing up your data and securing your device.
For applications with document storage features (SevenMonthsOut/SMO): We do not provide encryption or secure storage. Users must rely on device-level security (biometrics, PIN locks, encrypted folders) for protecting sensitive documents. We are not responsible for unauthorized access to your device or data.
The apps include a feature that allows users to voluntarily submit data corrections via email. When you use this feature, your email client will open with a pre-filled template. The information you provide in the email, including your email address and the correction details, will be sent to the developer for the purpose of improving the app's data accuracy. This information is used solely for communication regarding the data correction and is not used for any other purpose.
The apps do not implement any third-party analytics or logging services that would track your usage of the apps.
As the apps do not collect or store any of your personal information, the risk of a data breach is minimal. The information you provide via email for data corrections is handled with standard email security protocols.
The apps contain a mailto: link that opens your device's default email client. This Privacy Policy does not apply to your email client or your email provider. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
SMO and MyBranchLink Apps are not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to remove such information.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the apps. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
